Harkers Island Women of Faith
We believe prayer is the key to an effective faith life and the purpose and mission of the Harkers Island “Women of Faith” ministry is captured by the acronym:
Prepare Prepare our hearts for spiritual growth
Reach Reach others through encouragement and witness
Anticipate Anticipate a sisterhood of faith
Yield Yield our lives for God’s purpose
Our Women’s Group Prayer Response is: Lord, prepare our hearts for spiritual growth, help us to encourage others through our witness and to ignite a sisterhood of faith, as we yield our lives for your purpose. Amen
We believe our faith grows when we support, encourage, and minister to one another, as sisters in Christ. We focus on refreshing our faith life as Methodist women, through fellowship and bible study sessions. We welcome all women who desire to be a part of this ministry. We have monthly meetings, with summer off for other events. Please come and join us!
